Creamy Coffee with Churros Taste Recipe

Churros are sweets that originated in Europe, more precisely, in Spain and Portugal. They are very common in Latin countries from Mexico to Argentina. Each region has its own variation of jam and fillings.

They are made with water and wheat flour, with a delicious layer of cinnamon sugar and finished with a delicious chocolate or dulce de leche filling.

To unite the passion for churros with that of coffee, we created a creamy coffee recipe, with a taste of churros. It’s very easy to make and the pairing is incredibly delicious.

Ingredients:

– 100ml of whole or plant milk

– 50ml of Pottenzza coffee ready

– 1 tablespoon of dulce de leche

– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

– Whipped cream (optional)

Preparation mode:

Prepare coffee at home as usual. Preferably use a special, quality and more intense coffee. We use dark medium roast coffee; made in the filter paper you find here. To make it more intense, we use 4 very full tablespoons for an American glass of water. That way, the coffee taste is more present and in the perfect intensity for the recipe.

Heat the milk, but do not let it boil. Then beat it using the foam or a mini mixer, until it gets very creamy.

In a glass or mug, spread the dulce de leche using the back of the spoon all over the inner body of the glass. Sprinkle a part of the cinnamon over the dulce de leche, to make it look like this:

Then add the creamy milk and coffee.

If desired, add whipped cream on top.

Finish by sprinkling a little cinnamon on top. Mix it all up and enjoy!
